Christophe Antone is the new Digital Director of the MDS Group, a leading multinational insurance broker and risk consultancy of Portuguese origin. The French manager, who will carry out his duties in Portugal, will leverage the company's presence in the digital market, build and develop technical and commercial skills of teams, optimize e-commerce tools and promote innovation in the field.
José Manuel Dias da Fonseca, CEO of the MDS group, has stated: "The business world is increasingly digital. MDS, as an insurance brokerage leader, intends to spearhead digital innovation in Portugal and in any other market where it operates. Christophe, with his knowledge and expertise, will contribute to this strategy, which includes exploring growth opportunities in digital channels and increasing the number of products on offer to a growing number of private citizens and companies, namely in international markets."
Christophe Antone, a French national, earned his degree in marketing from IMADE École Supérieure de Commerce. He started his career as an agent with AXA Assurances, having later joined Cap Gemini as an insurance consultant. Christophe has penned several books about Internet strategies and insurance CRM, namely Agents, courtiers: comment vendre sur l’internet (Éditions L’Argus); he is also the cofounder of several insurtech technologies. In Portugal for over three years, he coordinates digital transformation at MDS bringing his experience with multichannel and digital technologies to bear.
